Like Never Before Weekly Update
What’s Happening?
The grass is always greener when it’s new. We’ve come full circle since groundbreaking in May of 2019, and our lawn, though reduced in size, now graces the outside of the new chapel. The grass was planted this week, so you will notice it when you drive by. Soon the fences will be coming down for an even better view. Someday, we will enjoy it more in person.
Other activities continue around and inside the worship center. The surrounding tiles have been installed at the baptistry. Carpet installation in the riser section continued. The inside audio and sound equipment is being fine-tuned. A truckload of gravel was delivered and will be spread so the second layer of asphalt can go in at the back dock of the building. The HVAC and electrical have been checked in detail. The security alarm is active every night. We are getting so close to completion and celebration.
Generosity Update
God continues to provide as you, our WACC family, continue to respond. Approximately $22,620 was given toward the Like Never Before building project during the week ending September 27, 2020. Your giving remains so important in this work. Thank you for your faithfulness in this important task.
