Like Never Before Weekly Update

Construction continues and the crews are following physical distancing guidelines, hand washing protocol, and other safety measures.

What’s Happening?

On Monday, the front walkway near the entrance from the parking lot and the upper patio areas were demolished to install the new patio. With no one on campus, this part of the project can move smoothly and quickly. It was a noisy time over there! The front trellis that overhangs the extended patio at the entrance of the new worship center is nearing completion. The windows that are now installed look great. Soon the doors will be hung and then the space can be locked up. That will be helpful. The courtyard by the Building B Nursery entrance looks so different. Wait until you can check it out. It will be a very nice, welcoming area for families bringing their young ones.

As we mentioned last week, the church Board has invited us to give to the WACC spring offering to help complete the new chapel by the time the new worship center opens. Please pray for God’s hand in finishing this important place and what you might give. This will be the home to our Heritage service, and also a place to host small weddings and end of life celebrations. We understand that this may be a time of financial struggle, so feel no pressure. Generosity Update

Your faithful generosity toward this project is so appreciated and encouraging. God continues to provide as you, our WACC family, continue to respond to the needs. Approximately $30,101 was given toward the Like Never Before building project during the week ending May 10.
