What’s Happening?

Building B1, Classrooms

Thanks so much for joining us at Sunday’s Open House to see the new preschool through Kindergarten classroom area in the B Building. It was fun to watch the younger children of the WACC family enthusiastically explore the new rooms and activities. We look forward to welcoming them all this Sunday for programming begins this weekend in the refreshed space.  They can bring friends, too, as we have plenty of room for growth. It’s an exciting time!

New Worship Center 

The front wall of the new worship center continues to go up. We can now look at the large entrances to the new lobby area. More steel has been delivered to continue construction of the risers to accommodate the raised seating area. Soon we will no longer be able to see all the change going on inside, as the walls enclose the building.

Building B1, Future Nursery

Last weekend, the front offices were successfully relocated to A100 across the lower patio. The front office staff is settling in to their new desks. Thank you to all the volunteers who served last weekend as we accomplished so much with their help. The demolition of the former front offices is going quickly and easily. Another transformation to a lovely space for newborns to toddlers is underway! We cannot wait to see it later this spring when it is completed.

Generosity Update

We are thankful for God’s generous provision as our WACC family responds to the need. People continue to fulfill their commitments for the Like Never Before building opportunity, and that is such an encouragement. Approximately $15,057 was given during the week ending February 16.
