A layer of sand. A layer of plastic. And another layer of sand. Then the installation of rebar. Those are the layers of preparation going in this week to get ready for the concrete floor pour coming in the next few weeks.
The front wall blocks of the chapel room match the current worship building. Did you notice that? What you cannot see is inside those wall bricks concrete has set to reinforce the structure. Concrete was poured in from the top of that wall this week to fill the hollow space inside. Enjoy the camera view, scroll down to see the camera images, and watch all the daytime action.
On the first floor in Building B, our remodeled kids’ classroom area, the remodel included drywall going in this week. The look is different with the center opened up and the flat floor, since the pit has been filled in. Some demo is still taking place, and the noise lets us know work is happening daily.
We are thankful for God’s generous provision as our WACC family responds to the need. People continue to fulfill their commitments for the Like Never Before building opportunity, and that is such an encouragement. Approximately $41,893 was given during the week ending November 10.
